About company disclosures
What are corporate disclosures?
Companies listed on the Nigerian Exchange must publish information that could affect their share price: financial results, dividend declarations, notices of AGMs and board meetings, changes to the board, directors' share dealings and corporate actions such as rights issues. NGX publishes these filings; NaijaTicker lists them here as they appear, sorted by topic, with a link to each document.
How are topics decided?
NGX files most announcements as “Corporate Actions”, so NaijaTicker reads the title as well: a dividend announcement goes under Dividends and an appointment under Board changes. Results, AGM, board meeting and directors' dealing notices keep NGX's own type.
What does “Ask AI” do?
It opens the document in ChatGPT, Claude or Grok with a prompt written for that type of filing. The analysis comes from that assistant, not NaijaTicker, and is not investment advice.
