Access Holdings Pushes H1 Results to September as CBN Clearance Delays ₦51tn Bank

Access Holdings Plc has pushed back the release of its H1 2026 interim audited financial statements to September 30, 2026, after obtaining approval from the Nigerian Exchange (NGX). The company cited the ongoing audit process and pending Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) approval for the delay.

The extension gives the group additional time to complete the audit and secure regulatory clearance before publishing its results. Access Holdings is one of Nigeria’s largest financial groups, making the H1 numbers important for investors assessing earnings, asset quality and capital strength across its businesses.

The delay itself does not establish any deterioration in the group's financial performance; the regulatory disclosure specifically attributes it to the audit process and pending CBN approval. The company has also maintained its closed period, meaning insiders remain restricted from trading until 24 hours after the results are released.

Investors should now watch for completion of the audit, CBN clearance and publication of the H1 results by the September 30 deadline.
