AXA Mansard Forecasts ₦11.85bn Profit for Q4 2026

AXA Mansard Insurance Plc has submitted its Q4 2026 financial forecast to the Nigerian Exchange Group, projecting ₦11.85 billion in profit after tax for the period.

The insurer expects insurance revenue of ₦185.45 billion, while insurance service expenses are forecast at ₦125.66 billion. After accounting for the net expense from reinsurance contracts held of ₦38.44 billion, AXA Mansard projects an insurance service result of ₦21.35 billion.

Investment and other income is expected to provide another significant earnings contribution, with the company forecasting ₦18.72 billion during the period.

Operating expenses are projected at ₦25.23 billion, resulting in a forecast profit before tax of ₦13.94 billion. After estimated taxation of ₦2.09 billion, profit after tax is expected to come in at ₦11.85 billion.

AXA Mansard expects to generate ₦13.73 billion in cash from operating activities during the period. However, investing activities are projected to consume ₦15.83 billion, resulting in a net cash decrease of ₦2.09 billion.

The company expects to enter the period with cash and bank balances of ₦39.56 billion and finish with approximately ₦37.46 billion.

The forecast points to a profitable quarter for AXA Mansard, with insurance operations and investment income providing the main earnings drivers. The company is also projecting positive operating cash generation, although investment-related outflows are expected to result in a modest decline in its overall cash balance.
