Dangote Cement Plc will host a Capital Markets Day in London on September 21, 2026, giving international investors a closer look at its strategy and operations as the company advances plans for a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange.
The cement manufacturer disclosed the event to the Nigerian Exchange on September 2, saying the meeting will provide investors and other stakeholders with updates on its strategy, operations and business priorities, while allowing them to engage directly with senior management. Presentation materials are expected to be made available to the market under applicable disclosure requirements.
The event follows shareholder approval of Dangote Cement’s proposed secondary LSE listing. The company first announced the plan in May, making clear that the proposed transaction remained subject to regulatory and corporate approvals and favourable market conditions.
For investors, the Capital Markets Day could provide important details on the company’s international growth strategy, capital allocation and priorities ahead of the proposed London listing. A secondary listing could broaden Dangote Cement’s international investor base and improve access to global capital markets while maintaining its existing NGX presence.
The timing is also significant as the company continues expanding its pan-African operations and production capacity. Investors will be watching management’s guidance on growth, margins, capital expenditure and the timetable for the London admission.
The September 21 event could therefore provide the clearest near-term update on how Dangote Cement intends to position itself for international investors and what the proposed secondary listing could mean for shareholders on the NGX.
