NREIT unitholders are set to receive ₦1.72 per unit on September 8, 2026, following the real estate investment trust’s distribution for the quarter ended June 30.
The payment is available to investors who held units as of July 29, meaning the distribution entitlement is already determined. With the payment date now approaching, investors who qualified should expect the cash to be credited to their registered bank accounts, subject to applicable withholding tax.
The distribution gives investors a direct measure of the income generated and returned by the REIT during the quarter. However, ₦1.72 is the gross distribution; the amount ultimately received will be lower after withholding tax.
NREIT did not declare an additional bonus distribution for the period.
For investors assessing NREIT as an income-generating asset, the more important question is how the ₦1.72 distribution compares with its unit price and previous distributions. That provides a better indication of the REIT's current income yield and whether its cash distributions are growing or declining over time.
