Okomu Oil Palm Forecasts ₦9.47bn Q4 Profit After Tax

Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc has projected ₦40.53 billion in turnover and ₦13.75 billion in profit before tax for the fourth quarter of 2026, according to its forecast presented to the stock market.

The company expects total expenses of ₦26.78 billion during the quarter, leaving projected profit before taxation of ₦13.75 billion.

After forecast taxation of approximately ₦4.29 billion, Okomu projects profit after tax of ₦9.47 billion for Q4 2026.

The company also expects to generate ₦5.84 billion in cash flow from operating activities before working-capital changes. Following a ₦1.35 billion working-capital outflow, net cash flow from operating activities is projected at approximately ₦4.49 billion.

On the investment and financing side, Okomu forecasts ₦8.65 billion in cash outflows from financing activities and a further ₦3.30 billion outflow from investing activities.

Despite these projected outflows, the company expects cash and cash equivalents to rise by approximately ₦2.00 billion, from ₦7.09 billion at the beginning of the period to ₦9.09 billion at the end of Q4 2026.

For investors, the forecast indicates strong quarterly profitability and operating cash generation. However, the figures are specifically for Q4 2026 and should not be interpreted as Okomu Oil Palm’s full-year 2026 forecast.
