Omatek Ventures Sets September 30 AGM as Investors Await 2025 Financials

Shareholders of Omatek Ventures Plc will meet on September 30 for the company’s 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM), with the presentation of its 2025 audited financial statements set to provide investors with an opportunity to assess the company’s financial performance and outlook.

The AGM, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, will also cover board re-elections, the appointment of external auditors and the election of members of the Statutory Audit Committee.

For investors, however, the key focus will be the company’s audited results for the year ended December 31, 2025. The filing does not disclose the financial figures, meaning shareholders will need to review the full annual report to assess revenue performance, profitability, cash generation, balance-sheet strength and any changes in the company’s financial position.

The meeting will also seek shareholder approval for the remuneration of Non-Executive Directors, making board costs and corporate governance another area investors may want to scrutinise alongside the financial results.

Two directors, Dr. Timothy Farinre and Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande — are also seeking re-election despite being above 70 years of age. Their continued presence on the board will require shareholder approval under the provisions of CAMA 2020.

The company’s Register of Members will be closed from September 28 to October 2, 2026. Shareholders unable to attend physically can follow the AGM through an online livestream, with details expected to be provided on Omatek’s website.

Investors can also submit questions to the company ahead of the meeting, giving shareholders an opportunity to seek clarification on the 2025 results, strategy, governance and other issues before the AGM.
